From the meadows of Marly to the roof of the Biodiversity School in Boulogne fauche-boulogne-8
The historic meadows at the Domaine National de Marly-le-Roi will be used as a donor to restore the meadow at the Biodiversity School in Boulogne-Billancourt.

As a continuation of the actions carried out to maintain, perpetuate and increase the ecological environments established since the delivery of the building in 2015, the objective of this new operation is to restore the rooftop meadow of the School of Biodiversity from the historic meadows of the Domaine National de Marly-le-Roi.

In 2020, the ecologist Aurélien Huguet gave the prescriptions on how to ensure that the project would continue in the future: "The spaces of this roof do not correspond to the horticultural model, nor to that of the roofs with spontaneous vegetation. This is a unique approach, resulting from ecological engineering, to which neither conventional maintenance nor non-interventionist choices correspond. These spaces have now begun a dynamic that must be supported and enriched in relation to the expectations of users. There are still actions, ways of doing things and follow-up protocols to be instituted in order to move forward."
